<div>Hasan Tarique Chowdhury was born in Brahmanbaria by the bank of river Titas. His father was a government education officer, thus he grew up in the green hills of Bandarban, the Sankhan river to the Meghna, Gomti, Lalmai hills and various civic lights. Tarique completed a Bachelor of Law from the University of London. Two separate post-graduate degrees in law and political science, respectively.</div><div>He is a Supreme Court lawyer by profession. Influenced by the famous philosopher grandfather Professor Saidur Rahman, he started to see the path of progress in his boyhood. In that light, he started politics through the student movement against military dictatorship. His political inspiration comes from the lives of his freedom fighter father and uncles. As a result, he was the President, General Secretary and Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Students’ Union (BSU).</div><div>At the end of the student movement, he joined the world peace movement and professional movement. He is a member of the Central Committee of the CPB and is still serving as the Secretary of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL). He writes regularly in local and foreign newspapers about contemporary politics, law and sociology.</div><div>He has traveled all over the world including India, Nepal, United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, Vietnam Germany in search of diversity and aesthetics. He loves movies, chatting and traveling. His ultimate goal is a free society for free human beings.</div><div>His physician wife Professor Naznin Nahar, son Hasan Tahsin and countless friends are the inspiration for his creative works.</div>
