<div>Raihana Bari, the author, a teacher by profession and a passionate animal lover, who has drawn to nature’s beauty also its animals’ and their social life by watching National Geographic, Love nature, and animal planet. She believes animals have feelings, they also mourn when their offspring die, also animal mothers sacrifice their own life to protect their offspring. All animals need their habitat for food and raising their babies. As one of the most intelligent species in this world, she thinks humans have a moral responsibility to protect other animals and their natural habitat. Since we are deeply connected to the natural world.</div><div>She is born and brought up in Chittagong, Bangladesh, a port city with rolling hills and vast ocean, Bay of Bengal. She received her first Masters in Sociology from Chittagong University, which has its beautiful nature with tree lined streets, and many kinds of birds chirping sounds. Last thirty-two years she has been living in the United States, where she never stops earning knowledge. She received another bachelor’s in social work from York College, City University, and master’s in education from Touro College. She also earned license to teach Elementary school and Special Education children. She worked as a social worker in the Salvation Army for ten years and worked as a teacher for New York City school system for twelve years.&nbsp;</div><div>Her deep love and affection are being portrayed by her network with many famous organizations like David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, International Animal Rescue, and Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Apart from her daughter Sarah Zaki, she has one adopted orphaned baby elephant named Olorien in Kenya and adopted orphaned orangutan named Gito in Indonesia. Part of this book’s proceeds will be given these organizations where conservationists are working tirelessly taking local people with them to protect these animals from becoming extinct and trying to save their habitat which is the ultimate goal.</div>
